Lotus everywhere at Autosport show
NEC BIRMINGHAM, 14-17 January 2010
There’s something for everyone where Lotus enthusiasts are concerned at this years’ Autosport International show, taking place at Birmingham’s NEC, so
lets hope the prevailing winter weather eases off in time for that trek to the Midlands Mecca.
Lotus Cars themselves will be showing a 2-Eleven GT4 and Evora, whilst there will also be an Evora on the UK Trade & Industry stand in the
Engineering section for the first two Trade-only days. Elsewhere, Yokohama have a first for the Tesla while there will be a Type 72 Exige on the stand
shared by Club Lotus and Classic Team Lotus (stand 6640). CTL are bringing along a trio of race cars with a tremendous race history between, together
with a 1952 Mk 6, this being the first-ever customer car supplied to Mike Lawson. It has now been lovingly restored and the show may be your only
chance to see this little piece of history before it heads off to the US and its new home at the Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum.
